Transparent semi-permeable polyurethane dressings are characterized by their impermeability to water and bacteria and their permeability to oxygen and water vapor. These features allow for the creation and maintenance of an ideal moist environment for re-epithelialization, while protecting the wound from the risk of exogenous infections.

The exudate that forms on the wound surface, thanks to the presence of neutrophils, has a natural antibacterial function and promotes cell growth and healing processes.

The perfect transparency of the film also allows for proper inspection of the wound without removing the dressing.
