• It is a highly technological dressing that combines in a single product all the advantages of the absorbent pad foam and the Silicone wound contact layer
• The high absorbency of the Polyurethane foam dressing reduces the number of changes and therefore the costs associated with wound healing
• The absorbent cells that make up the foam are able to absorb significant quantities of exudate and to retain liquids even under compression
• The Polyurethane film that covers the external side of the dressing prevents exudate from escaping but it is vapor permeable promoting the ideal moist environment for the healing process
• The perforated Silicone contact layer provides optimum protection for the newly formed tissues
• The light adherence of the Silicone layer ensures atraumatic and pain-free dressing changes
• The conformability, flexibility and softness of the foam create a cushioning effect that reduces pressure on the wound, counteracts any frictional forces and thus guarantees comfort and protection for the patient
